How do you select participants?
The screening process is conducted in two parts: an online application and an interview. Typically each cohort will include 10-14 founders at a similar stage of growth.
How much time is required?
The program involves 2 x 2 hour sessions per week, for a total of 4 contact hours. While your attendance and engagement is critical to getting the most out of the program, all sessions are recorded and shared with the cohort in case you need to miss a session.
In addition to the weekly sessions, you should plan to spend 2-4 hours per week on homework, as well as developing and practising your pitch.
What are the program fees?
Program fee: $3,000 (excluding GST). No equity stake taken in your company and in addition to the program, you receive in-kind services from our partners valued at more than the program fee. Payment plans can be arranged if required.
What if I don't make it into the program?
Space is limited and the program is highly selective. If you are not selected into Evolve we will suggest other programs that may be suited to your industry and/or stage of growth. In addition, we may encourage you to re-apply when further milestones are met.
I was not accepted into the Evolve program. Should I apply for Explore?
Yes! If you missed out on our Evolve Program, Explore is the ideal training ground to get your business ready for that next step. We created Explore to help you translate your idea into a product or service that will allow you to better test and understand your market.
If I'm accepted, can my co-founder participate?
Absolutely, we have found that it is super valuable for co-founders to complete the program together. Co-founders can join for a small additional fee of $500 (ex GST).
